The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage) to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Client.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist the Design Manager in project delivery.
* Support Electrical Services Engineering Lead.
* Participate in problem-solving and development of technical solutions.
* Supervise and guide junior staff.
* Use Learn from Experience information to develop theoretical knowledge.
* Support development, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Facilities.
* Support on-site inspection of DRDL assets.
* Maintain familiarity with DRDL procedures in Facilities Engineering.
What you need to succeed:
* Design electrical building services, low voltage distribution systems, control & instrumentation systems, and communications/data systems.
* Experience with substantiation of SIL and high-integrity systems for Nuclear Safety functions.
* Demonstrate knowledge and skills for complex design development throughout lifecycle.
* Provide expert advice to design houses and manage design activities.
* Understanding of engineering design, safety practice, project management, and budgeting.
* Knowledge of Company procedures for Design, Health & Safety, and Quality requirements.
* Working knowledge of engineering computer applications.
* Experience with design support for construction, operation, and maintenance of regulated facilities.
