What you'll be doing:
This is a diverse role to provide site support (portering, waste management, grounds maintenance, post room services) including furniture moves and meeting room layouts.
* Deal with any complaints immediately and report them to the Team Supervisor.
* Report faulty or damaged equipment to the relevant Supervisor.
* Management of couriers, post, goods in/out
* Porterage services (lift & shift) where practical (ensuring H&S requirements are met)
* Daily completion of electronic records including logging of stores issued/courier services/volumes of post/reactive tasks/franking.
* Report and repair any fabric/building faults identified whilst carrying out daily activities.
* Escort specialist subcontractors as instructed by the maintenance supervisor.
* Waste management
What we're looking for:
* Experienced using PDAs and computer Aided Facility Management Systems
* Manual Handling trained
* UK driving licence
* Forklift truck licence - desirable
* Confident decision maker
* Able to work within and promote Health & Safety practices
* Motivated, enthusiastic and determined to maximise results
