Teacher of Science
Ysgol Clywedog, Wrexham
Ysgol Clywedog is on an ambitious journey of rapid improvement, and we are eager to welcome dedicated educators who share our vision of a well-disciplined, high-achieving community school at the heart of Wrexham.
We are seeking an experienced Science teacher—specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics—to join our well-equipped and forward-thinking Science department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to delivering high-quality teaching, and eager to work in an environment that values professional autonomy and respect.
With a supportive and enthusiastic staff team, Ysgol Clywedog is making significant strides in its development. However, as the school is currently in Special Measures, this role is not suitable for a newly qualified Teacher (NQT).
For a conversation about this post please feel free to contact the Headteacher Simon Ellis via Kelly Stacey at the email address below.
Applications should be completed alongside a short letter detailing your philosophy and career so far to Kelly.stacey@clywedog.org no later than 1pm on Friday 4th April. Interview will take place on either Thursday 10th or Friday 11th April.
