Responsibilities
1. Lead marketing strategy and execution for live events across EMEA and MENA, ensuring the highest quality audience engagement.
2. Develop compelling event marketing messaging and campaign materials in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Craft persuasive copy and oversee the creation of promotional content.
4. Build and manage targeted audience marketing lists, tailoring outreach for key personas.
5. Partner with sponsors and speakers to create measurable influencer marketing campaigns that enhance client ROI.
6. Oversee the production of marketing collateral and digital assets, including websites, brochures, and social media content.
7. Utilize and optimize CRM, event booking, and marketing automation systems to enhance marketing performance.
8. Drive innovation by adopting new marketing technologies and approaches to maximize results and improve audience experience.
9. Work closely with the Events Director and Head of Marketing to align event messaging and execution.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless delegate journeys, from registration to on-site experience.
11. Provide strategic input as part of the wider events project team beyond marketing-specific initiatives.
12. Track and report campaign performance against KPIs, providing insights to senior stakeholders.
13. Generate post-event reports with key marketing metrics and recommendations for continuous improvement.
14. Manage event marketing budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and strong ROI.
15. Communicate marketing strategies and updates across project teams.
16. Work with regional colleagues to centralise and implement global marketing best practices.
17. Share insights and collaborate with broader marketing teams across syndication, training, and events.
Requirements
18. 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within a media or conference company.
19. Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
20. Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and social media platforms.
21. Commercial mindset with experience in budget management.
22. Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders, including senior leadership teams.
23. Outgoing, collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
24. Confident copywriter with a keen eye for compelling messaging.
25. Self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of campaigns and initiatives.
26. Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple projects.
27. Results-driven, with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
28. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
