Job Description
This role involves working as a Technical Sales Engineer in Civil Engineering, covering the Midlands & Wales region. The successful candidate will sell ground shoring, formwork/falsework, scaffolding, and temporary engineering solutions to contractors and civil engineering businesses on a hire basis. The position offers growth potential, working alongside a motivated sales team, with excellent training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales in the Midlands & Wales region for civil engineering solutions.
* Build relationships with main contractors, civil engineering firms, and groundworkers.
* Support business development through joint visits, project closures, and tender support.
* Work closely with internal design and sales teams to add value and support customer needs.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in field sales within the construction engineering sector, preferably with formwork, falsework, or engineering solutions.
* Proven track record in new business development and account management.
* Experience selling technical or design-led construction solutions.
* Full, clean driving license.
* Experience selling directly to end users.
Additional Information
Salary: £50,000 basic + commission, company car (hybrid options), 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, pension, healthcare, and other benefits.
Location Preferences: Stoke, Cardiff, Worcester, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester.
