Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join its friendly and hardworking team.
Responsibilities
1. Driving sales across the UK, US, and Europe for the company services.
2. Cold calling and prospecting as well as client visits across the world once opportunities have been developed.
3. Conveying complex topics to clients in a range of meetings.
4. Preparing and delivering presentations.
5. Teaching clients how to forecast and price pharmaceuticals.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role you will have:
1. A 2:1 or higher degree in a life-science, economics or similar discipline.
2. Good listening skills with the ability to ask the right questions and understand customer requirements in detail.
3. A commitment to continually update your knowledge and seek improvement in your abilities within the sales and pharmaceutical sectors.
4. A naturally optimistic, resilient, and outgoing personality.
5. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise time effectively.
6. The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and topics.
7. An understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling (beneficial).
8. High numeracy and computer literacy, especially in Excel.
Some travel in the UK and overseas will be part of the role, so you should have flexibility to accommodate.
Compensation
You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £28,000 (increasing to £31,000 upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period) as well as a generous bonus scheme that reflects your individual performance. A company car allowance will also be offered. Twenty-seven days’ holiday a year in addition to Bank Holidays and a matching company pension contribution of 5% of your salary.
