Job Description
As a Contracts Manager at Industrial Facades Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the contractual aspects of our construction projects. You will play a pivotal role in managing and administering contracts to ensure their successful execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the interests of Industrial Facades Ltd.
2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including project managers, legal teams, and finance departments, to provide guidance and support throughout the contract lifecycle.
3. Managing and monitoring contract performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms, and addressing any deviations or issues that may arise.
4. Identifying and mitigating contractual risks, proactively implementing measures to protect the company's financial and operational interests.
5. Maintaining accurate and organized contract documentation, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure collaborative and successful project delivery.
7. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to construction contracts.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry, demonstrating expertise in managing construction contracts.
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including contract law, regulations, and industry standards.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
* Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
