An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead within the Urgent Community Response (UCR) team. The Team Leader will provide leadership and direction to UCR colleagues within the team and will be capable of working autonomously demonstrating expert knowledge of services. The post holder, in the absence of the service manager will lead the multidisciplinary team to manage referrals into the service. The post holder will act as a positive role model, leading by example, mentoring and supervising staff and providing opportunities for continuing professional development for all grades of staff. We are looking for a suitably qualified RGN/ Occupational Therapist/ Physiotherapist for this role. This is an exciting development opportunity for a flexible and self-motivated individual to work alongside UCR staff to support with the day to day functions of the team and take on a leadership role regarding service development.
The Post holder will have responsibility for the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective clinical service ensuring this is delivered to local and national targets/standards within resources and budget available. The post holder will be required to provide evidence of effective service delivery through ongoing monitoring and evaluation in line with key performance indicators. The post holder will be required to work in collaboration with colleagues in the integrated team to develop and deliver services that reflect changes in national and local strategy and direction. The Clinical Specialist will provide leadership and direction to therapy colleagues within the team and will be capable of working autonomously demonstrating expert clinical skills and knowledge of services. The post holder, in the absence of the service manager will lead the multidisciplinary team to manage referrals into the service.
