Overview
We are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join our growing Housing Division based out of our Chelmsford office. Our Housing division is a fast-paced, collaborative group of dynamic professionals who are all driven to succeed. If you share this attitude, we look forward to hearing from you.
You will be responsible for providing account servicing support and ensuring effective servicing of client accounts. Reporting directly to the Housing Team Manager, you will work with experienced Account Managers & Directors to provide outstanding service to our wide range of clients within the commercial space.
How you'll make an impact
* Create documents for new customers, including mid-term adjustments and renewals information.
* Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered into the system promptly to maintain data integrity.
* Obtain renewal terms for customers, exploring options to provide the best available solutions.
* Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure cover is bound by renewal date.
* Manage insurer and customer queries regarding policies.
* Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and chase outstanding documentation.
* Handle account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns as needed.
* Apply legal and regulatory policies related to internal procedures and insurance contracts.
About You
* Commercial insurance knowledge is essential.
* Holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII/Dip CII is desirable.
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
* Experience working towards targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieving SLAs.
* Strong rapport-building and customer service skills with excellent communication and social skills.
* Due diligence and process-driven, capable of meeting deadlines, planning, organizing, and analyzing information.
* Highly accurate with attention to detail, using initiative to assist team members.
* Proficient in Acturis.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
