This school is a pupil referral unit based on a small school site in Christchurch, Dorset. They provide an education setting for pupils who are unable to learn in mainstream settings or may need intervention to reengage with mainstream education. They encourage and support students to foster their self-belief and self-esteem to achieve and succeed both academically and equally as important, socially, and emotionally which will lead them onto their next steps with confidence. KS3 short term placed students are supported academically and socially, with strategies and planned interventions. The intention is that these students are reintegrated back into mainstream education successfully. KS4 students have a personalised programme of study that follows the national curriculum, identifying and addressing knowledge gaps. They are supported, guided and managed to gain qualifications suited to their future career choices.
