The Bookings Administrator will be responsible for effectively and efficiently administering a large caseload of patients from referral to discharge, ensuring the Hospital is able to always meet / exceed their service deliverables from a quantitative and qualitative perspective for all referrers. As a Booking Administrator, you will: Process requests received by e-mail. Obtaining relevant information from the patient, Consultant or Medical Secretary. Booking appointments in our patient database. Liaising to coordinate and book appointments and advise the referrer and patient of arrangements. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all patients in accordance with company processes and procedures and within agreed timescales. Manage all patient queries during their journey through the hospital. Ensure that the referrer is kept up to date on all activities as required. Dispatch communications (reports, emails, telephone calls) to relevant parties to ensure appointments are processed effectively and efficiently and within agreed specified timescales. Ensuring great customer service skills through call handling and E-mail. Substantial IT literacy is a must. As a Bookings Administrator, you will have: Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment. Demonstrable ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent telephone manner. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Good working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, bespoke database. Excellent attention to detail. An understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures. Helping you feel good.
