We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a small renewables company based in Bristol. They are offering a basic salary up to £35,000 plus commission and the option of a company car or car allowance. This is a field-based role, focused on bringing in new clients to the business. They have a Telesales team that can help with generating leads but you’ll need to be confident approaching new clients. The role of Business Development Manager involves: Attending appointments with new prospects booked by the Telesales team. Identifying your own lead opportunities in your area. Approaching and meeting with prospects face to face to sell services. Being the go-to person for your clients. Gathering all client information and putting together suitable quotes. Closing of sales for clients and looking for further opportunities. For the Business Development Manager role, you need: Previous experience within field sales is preferred for this role. Experience within renewables, waste, utilities or similar is beneficial but not essential. Full clean UK driving licence is needed.
