Job Description
We seek a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to motivate and engage our pupils. The role of HLTA is integral to the smooth operation of the school and the enhanced opportunities we give to our pupils. The role is primarily to oversee classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff or to provide time for school leaders to undertake their roles.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet HLTA national standards or hold equivalent skills, expertise, or experience. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to NVQ level 2 in English and Maths, and IT skills sufficient to advance pupils' learning are essential for this position.
This is a fixed-term, variable hours contract until July 2025 with initial hours of 31.25 hours per week.
