Finance Manager - Permanent - based in Brackley, NN13
Job Purpose:
To provide reliable, timely, and accurate financial information, ensuring hands-on management of all financial operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Production of monthly and year end accounts.
2. Control of balance sheet - ensuring accurate reading of assets and responsibilities.
3. Fixed asset register and capital expenditure, monitoring and control.
4. Producing monthly forecast information.
5. Review of all monthly reports.
6. Supervision and day to day management of Sales and Purchase Ledger system together with Purchase ordering.
7. Liaise and provide relevant information to the external Auditors.
8. Credit Control and liaison with debt collection agencies.
9. Bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting.
10. Quarterly VAT/ROS and other monthly statutory and national statistics returns.
11. Monthly payroll, Admin of bonus payments and dividends.
12. Admin of payroll/employee information & admin of auto-enrolment pension scheme/salary exchange scheme and year end returns including P11Ds.
13. Administration/control of company insurances and leases (vehicle & plant).
14. Responsibility of payments to HMRC and other entities in a timely manner.
15. Payroll knowledge.
16. Understanding of CIS/DRC and applications.
17. Office management duties.
Person Specification:
1. AAT qualified and achieved or Part qualified in CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
2. Financial reporting and investigation of queries.
3. Familiar with financial processes and procedures.
4. Ability to work within a pressurised environment.
5. An analytical mindset.
Experience:
1. At least 3 years credit control experience.
2. Develop excel based dashboards and related models for wider business.
3. Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
Hours of Work:
8.30am - 5.00pm (Monday - Friday). Flexible can be offered.
