Engineering Team Leader - Chessington, London Job Type: Full Time What you'll bring to the team Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort Leatherhead Road Chessington Surrey KT9 2NE Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Engineering Team Leader to join our Technical Services team In this role you will be managing one of three Engineering teams on behalf of the Engineering Area Manager, to ensure the rides remain safe and operational at all times, and that vehicles are safe and fit for purpose. This includes planning all elements of ride management, including ensuring winter maintenance plans are deliverable. You will be responsible for managing the Ride Engineers to improve ride availability, as well as managing the through-life management plan for all designated engineering assets. Qualifications & Experience A “can do” attitude and endless energy and enthusiasm for the role. HND/HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline. Full understanding of engineering-related statutory requirements such as COSHH. Strong, effective leadership combined with proven managerial skills. Have a great attitude, work ethic and passion to succeed, desire to change in an ever-progressive evolving industry.
