Who we are:
Renfrewshire Valuation Joint Board is an independent public authority that was established by The Valuation Joint Boards (Scotland) Order 1995.
What we do:
Provide a professional valuation and electoral registration service for the Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Council areas in respect of compilation and maintenance of the Valuation Rolls, Valuation (Council Tax) Lists and Registers of Electors.

To provide high quality, effective and responsive services to all our stakeholders.
Who are we looking for:
Based in Paisley the successful candidate will assist the Joint Board’s Valuation Team in the administration and undertaking of inspections of lands and heritages within the Board’s geographical area for the purposes of the Lands Valuations Acts and the Local Government Finance Act 1992.
It is desirable to have a National 5 in English or Maths, an equivalent qualification would also be considered. You should have experience in using a range of software packages for word processing, spreadsheets and databases. It is also essential to have experience of working with a variety of service users.
You should also have a combination of literacy, numeracy and organisational skills as well as communication skills. It is also essential to be able to work as part of a team and have experience of prioritising tasks.
A full driving licence and use of a car is essential for this role.
