Job responsibilities • The post holde rwill lead on the delivery of individual projects and support in the wider delivery of the UEC system programme. They will be responsible for development of robust project documentation, implementation plans and utilising the system project management tool. • Engage with system stakeholders and partners working collaboratively to ensure the success of the wider UEC programme, encouraging collaboration and where required negotiating where there are differences of opinion. • Interpretation of highly complex data and information to support decision making and development of options. • Ensure a patient centred approach to transformation of services. • Line management of UEC team members. Person Specification Essential/Desirable Essential • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience within the job description environment • Post graduate qualificiation in project management or equivalent experience • Evidence of continuing professional development • Evidence of highly developed specialist knowledge and expertise and experience in Project Management with a general awareness of project management methodologies • Specialist knowledge to include an understanding of how projects are structured within a programme • Theroretical and practical knowledge of project governance structure • Significant previous experience of achievement in project management within a complex environment • Extensive experience of operating in a project management role. • Evidence of successful identification and deployment of Best Practice in respect of project management • Experience of working collaboratively across organisational and administrative boundaries • Experience of developing and presenting business cases, briefings and reports to a range of diverse audiences • Experience of successful delivery across the full project lifecycle, including scope and design, project planning, risk and issue • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate and able to maintain communication in the face of hostility and barriers to communication due to the contentious nature of the issue • Stong at building relationships and at working collaboratively with people who may disagree with the vision, and with each other • Stong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage staff in all disciplines and at all levels • Competent facilitation skills to bring others together in support of effective delivery of shared outcomes • Skilled in people management • Ability to lead transformation by deining and implementing information and solutions in support of delivery of effective change management • Well developed analytical skills and the ability to understand and evaluate complex information • Strong planning skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines • Ability to work independently and on own initiative with limited supervision • Ability to draw on skills, experience and knowledge to evaluate competing evidence and advise on a range of complex options • Self motivated with the ability to motivate and empower others to achieve specific goals • Car driver/owner or reasonable alternative • Ability to travel throughout Lincolnshire sometimes at short notice • Awareness and application of Equality and Diversity issues for both service delivery and your line management Desirable • Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent
