(8 - 8) About the role Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking Care Assistant to support a female service user with a brain injury. The role involves providing 2:1 support for all aspects of her clinical care, including Tracheostomy, JPEG, Suctioning, and Ventilation. It is important that when completing the clinical tasks, they are done in a safe and effective manner. Ranging from close observations, manual handling to maintaining/ managing blood sugar levels. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, as we wish to encourage our service user to spend time in the community and participate in activities that support her independence. Bubbly outgoing carers with good communication skills would be an asset to this care package, engaging with our service user and her next of kin as well as other members of the team is essential Benefits Theoretical and Practical training is provided to ensure you have the correct skills and give yourself the opportunity to upskill yourself in the sector.
