About the role
Are you a dynamic Sport Coach ready to explore the exciting realm of education? Have you ever contemplated a career in teaching but hesitated about making the leap? The perfect opportunity awaits you!
Vision for Education is thrilled to collaborate with a distinguished school in County Durham, actively seeking passionate individuals to join us as Cover Supervisors, with the prospect of advancing to daily supply work or securing longer fixed-term contracts.
As a Cover Supervisor, envision yourself at the forefront of education, leading classes of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. The beauty? You'll cover a diverse range of secondary school subjects without the expectation of being an expert in each area. Lesson plans will be provided in advance, leaving you to shine in your role—facilitating learning, managing classroom dynamics, accurately recording registers, and seamlessly handing over to the absent teacher.
For those new to the role, fear not! Our exclusive Cover Supervisor Training Programme awaits, tailored to equip you with the skills needed for success. Dive into the details on our website or simply share your CV with us, and our consultants will reach out with further information.
