About the role:
To support the delivery of the Agency's strategy by effectively managing the customer experience end-to-end - ensuring excellent levels of customer service and the provision of relevant and appropriate advice efficiently, compliantly and in line with policy and process.
1. Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual products and NFU Mutual product and claims licences as appropriate.
2. Provide exceptional service to our existing customers in the provision of all our products and services including policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, responding to queries and actioning policy changes.
3. Arrange and provide appropriate advice on general insurance products ensuring customers have the best policies to cover their needs.
4. Identify and action opportunities for cross-sales for existing clients to contribute to the growth of the Agency, including introducing Financial Services products.
5. Process payments from customers in line with relevant policies and procedures.
6. Produce up-to-date records for every customer interaction and contact, ensuring all notes are captured clearly, accurately and timely.
7. Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
8. Always demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model in line with the values and ethos of the Agency.
9. Build and maintain effective working relationships within the Agency team and all relevant key contacts and teams within NFU Mutual.
10. Ensure all duties are carried out in a way which complies with relevant external legislation and regulation, NFU Mutual compliance and other procedures and local Agency policies and processes.
11. Deliver ad-hoc projects and/or other duties as required, to support the delivery of business strategy and enhance customer experience.
About you
Essential:
1. Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
2. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
4. Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and the ability to effectively use NFU Mutual systems
5. Good maths and problem solving skills
6. Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
7. Great team working and ability to build effective relationships through positive behaviours, honesty and integrity.
8. Focus on continuous improvement, able to use own initiative
9. Demonstrate commitment to quality and compliance with procedures/regulations using due care, skill and diligence
10. Desire to be the best, openness to personal development, learning new skills
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of insurance
2. Experience in regulated environment
3. Knowledge of NFU Mutual products
4. Connection to farming/rural sector
5. Own transport & full UK driving licence
