Reading, MA | In-Office Municipalities & Collaborative School Districts $70,000–$85,000 annually Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate of the base pay range for this role, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses, benefits, or other forms of pay. Are you ready to launch your account management career with a company that serves municipalities and collaborative school districts? We’re seeking an organized, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and a drive to learn. As an Account Manager Trainee, you’ll support our MEGA Account Manager and be immersed in a training program designed to build your knowledge of insurance programs, client servicing, and strategic planning. You’ll collaborate with multiple internal departments and external partners, helping to ensure clients’ goals are achieved with excellence.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
* Assist the Account Manager in delivering exceptional client service by ensuring all account-related items are handled efficiently and accurately.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of client policies, procedures, and objectives.
* Contribute to marketing, claims administration, loss control, underwriting, excess, and other program functions.
* Help with claim audits, loss analysis, actuarial reviews, and stewardship reports.
* Manage iCE access for external users and provide training when needed.
* Develop financial projections and contribute to team budgeting processes.
* Coordinate logistics and communications for client board meetings, trade shows, and annual events.
* Provide administrative support across the account management team.
Qualifications
What You Bring
* 3–5 years of experience in the insurance or customer service industry.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Claims and/or underwriting experience a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently.
* Professional demeanor with a team-focused mindset.
* Willingness to travel in-state as needed.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn insurance software quickly.
