We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join a well-established care agency in the Canterbury area with exciting plans for growth. The role will largely revolve around building and maintaining a temporary staffing desk and actively participating in new business development. Role:
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will benefit from a bespoke training programme to introduce you to both the care sector and the recruitment industry. You will get to know existing candidates and clients, in order to develop strong working relationships. Although this is a trainee role, you will be learning on the job and so must be confident in performing a full 360 role. Your duties will mainly include:
* Taking an active role in the candidate attraction process including reviewing applications, conducting interviews and selecting care workers
* Performing inductions to ensure new carers are fully trained, confident and prepared
* Prospecting potential clients by using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract new business
* Obtaining staff availability and booking into relevant shifts to ensure clients needs are fully met
* Achieving and exceeding KPI's, targets & objectives on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
* Collaborating effectively with your team members
* Delivering the highest quality of client and candidate service whilst ensuring compliance is maintained to the highest standard
Requirements:
* You do not need to have previous recruitment experience but will ideally have some sales experience alongside knowledge of the care sector.
* You will have a hunger and desire to succeed and develop your career.
* You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and sales skills as well as being able to work autonomously within a team environment.
* You will also hold a full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle during working hours.
