Quality Engineer

Responsible for:
1. Contributing to the creation and maintenance of effective quality control processes
2. Contributing to continually improving the Quality Management System
3. Aiding in championing processes and procedures to ensure ISO 9001 and AS9100 accreditations are maintained and achieved
4. Monitoring and recording scrap, reject, rework, and concession quantities and costs to aid in improvement projects
5. Keeping accurate documentation
6. Understanding statistical techniques to ensure quality levels are maintained
7. Proactively aiding in problem-solving and improvement
8. Providing assistance with Internal Audits
9. Supporting and working within the culture of continuous improvement
10. Taking part in 5S, 8D, and any other relevant quality principles to aid in problem-solving and quality improvements
11. Communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders effectively
12. Being an industrial metrology champion for new methods and techniques to collect robust, repeatable data
13. Providing CMM programming support and operation to ensure smooth throughput of work
14. Maintaining quality best practices
15. A hands-on approach with first-off inspection
16. Ability to contribute to drawing review meetings with a thorough knowledge of G D and T
