We are currently recruiting Overnight Chat Customer Service colleagues on a full time basis, with a starting package up to £, this is made up of a base salary of £, along with an additional £ flexible benefit, up to a £ discretionary performance related bonus, and also an overnight shift allowance of £ per annum.
You’ll use your natural warmth, energy and personality to help as many customers as you can each day. We'll help you to develop the skills needed to build strong customer relationships, take ownership and deliver that great customer experience.
Along with representing Santander to our customers, you’ll have a voice within the organisation too. As the first point of contact, you’ll get to know our customers better than anyone else. So, if you have an idea about how we can improve their experience or better ways of working, we’re all ears.

1. Helping customers each day by answering customer queries online via webchat
2. Assisting customers with day-to-day transactions and enquiries
3. Helping to keep our customers and the bank safe
4. Solving problems and escalating issues when necessary

What you’ll bring:
6. Exceptional listening and communication skills with the ability to show empathy in a customer situation
7. Experience of working within a customer services role, previous telephony experience not essential
8. You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)

This role is based in Bootle and you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office.

27. Every individual must have the right to work in the UK to commence employment with Santander either by way of nationality, visa or work permit.
