Starting in March 2024, this role offers a chance to work in a dynamic and friendly school, providing essential support to a dedicated team of educators. As a key member of the classroom, you will work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, supporting children both individually and in small groups. Your role will help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages children to reach their full potential. Main Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of classroom activities, providing tailored support to individuals or small groups of children. Support the teacher in preparing materials and resources for lessons. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported. Supervise children during break times and ensure their well-being throughout the school day. Contribute ideas for improving classroom activities and student engagement. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning. The ideal candidate will: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities. Be eager to help children with their academic development, particularly in literacy and numeracy. Have experience working with children in a professional or personal capacity. Essential Criteria: Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (Teaching Personnel can assist with this process). Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
