Location: Burley Road, Leeds (Hybrid in office / work from home)
Salary: £30,000 p/a D.O.E
Hours: 37.5 per week (9-5 5 day week or 8-6 4 day week)
About the role
We’re looking for a UK based web developer to join our growing company based in Leeds.
We’re a planet friendly printing company with customers all over the country. Since we started out, we’ve built up an excellent reputation for quality printing and customer service. As we continue to build on our industry leading website and as more people discover PRINT.WORK, we’re in need of some help to continue our growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Development directly on our eCommerce website www.print.work enabling our team to continue to innovate within the print industry – this could entail improvements to our customers’ experience while shopping with us, to developing functionality for our customer support team to better serve our customers.
* With guidance, further development of our in house applications used by our production team. These are written in React Native and run on Android.
* You will work collaboratively within our small development team. Finding efficiencies and building key features within our suite of products.
* Provide technical support on projects as needed, following technical direction provided by other team members where appropriate.
Skills & experience
* 2+ years of commercial experience working in web development
* A strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS (Sass, Tailwind)
* Commercial experience and a good level of understanding of a front-end JS library (e.g. React, Vue, Solid.js)
* PHP (specifically WordPress / WooCommerce theme & plugin development)
* Knowledge of both building and interacting with REST APIs
* Git and modern build and CI processes
* Any experience building native apps is a bonus!
