Our client who are a large Freight Forwarder that are looking for a dynamic Internal Cargo Telesales Agent to work from their London Heathrow branch. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong sales & logistics background to generate and secure new business. This sales role is key to developing a pipeline of new business within Air & Ocean and Road (Biased towards Air Freight)
Job Duties of a Internal Cargo Telesales Agent:
* Support and assist with driving account acquisition and generating new leads.
* Engage with the client's internal network to assist with sales development.
* Most of the business generated will be from telesales and you will be provided with a large leads list on day 1
* Develop and manage individual sales pipeline with a focus on Air and Ocean Freight business.
* Book & possibly attend meetings with support of sales managers.
* Actively engage customers with consultative sales techniques to provide mutual beneficial and positive customer experiences.
Candidate Expectations:
* Minimum of 1 years of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably from a Air & Sea freight background.
