If you are looking for your next challenging project on a flexible appointment basi s, you could be the professional with good construction/infrastructure/planning industry contacts we're looking for to lead, manage and drive Grundon's proposals for a new 10-acre Alternative Fuels Hub at Colnbrook, West Berkshire. Preferably living in the southeast, you will be employed as Planning & Development Project Manager on a fixed-term contract, or consultancy basis, for a temporary period of 2 years, home-based or working from our Beenham office, near Reading (RG7 5PY) with our Estates team. What you'll be doing as Planning & Development Project Manage r Ideally a qualified Chartered Surveyor, Town Planner, or Project Professional, and most definitely a confident negotiator with strong political nous, you will manage the planning and early development stages of the project, possibly leading to procurement and delivery of it following planning approval, depending on your skillset. Working with internal teams, and external consultants, you will draw together various specialisms to develop and promote a compelling planning case and lead the project through to planning submission, consideration and approval. You will be expected to develop and agree the masterplan amongst all stakeholders, ensuring realistic and practical technologies and solutions are investigated and selected. What you'll need • Experience in, and knowledge of, the requirements of the CDM 2015 Regulations. • Experience of promoting and managing complex EIA applications through the planning process. • Proficient at project management, of setting and managing budgets and of cost planning. • Expertise in drawing together, managing, and co-ordinating a wide variety of specialists to deliver a coherent and consistent project. • Full valid driving licence.
