Job overview

The Renal Dialysis Unit is a purpose-built unit with 55 dialysis stations providing chronic haemodialysis and acute treatments.
Experience is not essential as all staff are well supported by our Practice development facilitator and we have comprehensive competency packages in place for all new starters.

We are looking for a Registered nurse who is committed to individualised patient centred care.
Main duties of the job
* Ensuring consistent delivery of patient care, assessing care needs & implementing agreed nursing and clinical standards.
* Delivering haemodialysis treatment to CKD patients who attend the unit 3 times a week.
* Managing a clinical workload.
* Working with the MDT to ensure that the needs of the complex chronic patients are met.
* Monitoring the quality of care delivered using clinical standards & audit.
* Participating in professional and personal development of the Nursing Team.
* Supporting the nursing team in the clinical area to minimise and identify potential environmental & clinical risks.
