An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Relationship Manager to join our client, a leading Charity on a permanent basis.
The role offers either Hybrid working at one of their multiple offices throughout the UK (if London will include a London weighting allowance of £3,) or fully remote with occasional travel to a local office. Paying between £48, and £54, based on experience.
As the Business Relationship Manager, you will be assigned a group of directorates with which to build relationships. Working with senior leadership teams to understand the strategy, goals, capabilities, and needs. Helping to align plans and prioritise technology and data resources. You will lead a small team of Business Analysts who work across the organisation.
Responsibilities as the Business Relationship Manager
1. Embrace the organisations values to support their people and teams, helping them grow, learn, and integrate into their sustainable mission delivery.
2. Lead and manage a diverse team of technology and data professionals and partners, ensuring the delivery of outcomes aligned with Directorate-specific plans and priorities.
3. Oversee the development of Directorate plans to ensure clear outcomes and prioritisation of technology and data initiatives. Owning the overall delivery roadmap for Technology within your assigned Directorates and manage performance to resolve any impediments.
4. Work collaboratively with the wider Technology and Data Directorate and functional teams to develop solutions that support the strategy and mission.
5. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and manage expectations regarding Technology and Data support.
6. Coach, develop, and motivate the Directorate Senior Leadership Teams, enabling them to deliver high performance and achieve more with technology and data.
7. Use methods to steer projects towards high-impact initiatives that align with the organisation's priorities.
8. Coordinate with Technology and Data team representatives to ensure capacity and capability to meet Directorate specific requests, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery aligned with the strategy.
9. Communicate the status, value, and importance of technology and data across your assigned Directorates, demonstrating performance and outcome metrics on the effectiveness of services and solutions.
10. Provide program and/or project lead support in the delivery of significant projects and initiatives within the Directorate.
Skills and experience required.
11. Highly developed stakeholder management skills.
12. Ability to 'talk tech' to senior teams in plain English, helping them understand technical concepts in a way that is relevant to their work.
13. A high degree of professional integrity and excellent interpersonal skills.
14. The ability to influence and negotiate with others from a range of backgrounds.
15. An analytical mindset and the ability to problem solve in a creative and innovative way.
16. A track record of successfully developing and implementing change programmes in a complex organisation.
My client is open to candidates who are either Business Relationship focussed and looking to get more involved in Technology, or Technology focussed and looking to get more involved in Business Relationships.
