1. Owning the management accounting process
2. Cash flow management and forecasting
3. Running Payroll and Pensions
4. Preparing statutory accounts
5. Leading a team of two direct reports responsible for all day to day matters
6. Reviewing processes and improving systems where necessary
The ideal candidate for this role will…
1. Be CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified- though particularly strong “qualified by experience” candidates will also be considered
2. Have substantial experience operating as a Finance Manager or Controller within a small company environment
3. Have strong leadership skills and experience managing a finance department
4. Have Sage 50 experience
5. Be a strong technical accountant, comfortable dealing with internal audit matters
6. Be confident in the preparation and presentation of management accounts (to a board level)
