Job Description:
Due to further growth, a new vacancy has arisen for a Pensions Team Manager with an in-house firm working from their Edinburgh office, returning to hybrid working as standard. They can also consider someone with 5+ years of experience in defined benefit (DB) to take their next step and work at the forefront of the team.
The successful applicant will manage highly important projects for the team. Previous technical defined benefit pensions experience is essential, in addition to client management experience within pensions. Professional qualifications such as PMI are highly desirable to ensure these projects are overseen in a compliant manner.
You will work with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration is required, along with a thorough understanding of scheme rules and current legislation. The position offers someone with in-depth knowledge of the defined benefit market the opportunity to take full ownership and play a significant part in the success of the team.
