Project Control & Scheduler required for a computing systems provider for space satellites and telecommunications based in Guildford. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with advanced scheduling capabilities, proven experience in PMO development, and a deep understanding of project management processes.
Project Control & Scheduler Job Overview
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Office (PMO) framework.
* Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency in project execution and alignment with strategic goals.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of deadlines.
* Communicate schedule updates to stakeholders regularly and escalate critical path issues.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Project Control & Scheduler Job Requirements
* Experience in developing and leading a PMO in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of PMO frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Ability to handle multiple projects with interdependencies and deliver within tight timelines.
* Experience in managing project risks, budgets, and resource allocations.
* Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) would be an advantage.
Project Control & Scheduler Salary & Benefits
* Salary: 60,000-80,000 (dependent on skillset and experience).
* Matching pension contributions up to a maximum of 5% per month.
* Holiday entitlement - 34 days (including bank holiday).
* Working hours - 9.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays.
