The Endoscopy Unit at Peterborough City Hospital is looking to expand its services in order to meet the ever growing demand for endoscopic procedures. We offer a supportive work environment with state of the art facilities and a commitment in developing your career.
We are a busy working department that boasts of 5 procedure rooms and an on call Upper GI Bleed service. Patients are treated for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the department and are accompanied by a dedicated competent multi-skilled workforce, who pride themselves on delivering patient focused care. This is driven by a well established unit with full JAG accreditation.
If you are a confident and highly motivated individual who is keen to develop skills through practice and within a supportive training environment, and you have an interest in working within an area that has a variety of clinical responsibilities and are keen to become a member of the Endoscopy Team, then please get in touch.

We provide an in depth induction programme which will include supernumerary periods and preceptorship. There will be close support from a named mentor and clinical educator, as well as in-house training programmes specifically designed for our department and our clinical skill set, delivered by our Endoscopy Training Team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Endoscopy unit is currently open 08:00 - 18.00 Monday to Saturday, including bank holidays. We provide a comprehensive on call service for the out of hours work, and the successful applicant will be required to participate in this once fully trained.
