What you will do in your working day
* Activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher.
* Attend to pupils’ personal needs, including social, health, hygiene, first-aid and welfare matters
* Prepare classrooms and clear them afterwards and assist with the display of pupils’ work
* Provide clerical / admin support, e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, record keeping
* Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as
* Liaise with parent and carers under the direction of a teacher
* Administer routine tests
* Accompany teachers and pupils on out of school activities and take responsibility of a group under the direction of a teacher
* Assist with the development of APDR and pupil passport programmes
The training you will be getting
* Work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
* Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 8th best UK training provider)
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* Full-time job to be considered upon completion of the apprenticeship.
