I am recruiting for a Nurse Registered Manager for a small 40 bed Nursing home for the Elderly which is part of a family ran group in St Helens. The home has a great reputation, high occupancy levels and minimal agency used. Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse Manager: Overall running of the Nursing home including standards, quality of care, recruitment, and training. Managing budgets. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries. Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care. Gaining ‘GOOD’ CQC. Build strong relationship with regional and operations directors. Ensuring company policies are followed and adhered to. Registered Nurse Manager Requirements: Registered with CQC. NMC Pin is preferred. 1 Years’ experience managing within a Nursing Home setting. NVQ Level 4 or 5 in management. Experience working with the Elderly and Dementia patients. Managing budgets. Clinical skills. Ability to manage teams, improve services, quality, and performance. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries. Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care.
