Join us as a Deputy Manager to lead our team at Hennessy Group. You will be assisting the Registered Manager with the home management and taking charge in their absence. Every day, you’ll help with managing operations, to supervise staff, handle admin and check casework records. You’ll also be directly involved in case conferences, reviews and planning. You will also be required to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
To be our Deputy Manager, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare and have experience in a supervisory capacity. You must hold a Level 3 Diploma qualification in Residential Childcare (England) (or working towards it) and also have held a full UK driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
If you do not hold this you will need to be willing to obtain this and we will provide the necessary support as part of our investment in your future.
You should also be committed to child-centred practice, have proven administrative skills and a wealth of childcare knowledge. Resilient and good with people, you’ll have the judgement and confidence to make key decisions. You’ll need to be happy to work unsociable hours, be flexible to the needs of the home and work to a rota.
