Due to the growing range of needs at our school, we are looking to appoint 3 x Level 3 teaching assistants (2 x permanent & 1 x fixed term to cover a maternity leave for the 25/26 academic year) to join our team on a permanent basis from September.
We are looking for innovative, creative and enthusiastic individuals to join the Yew Tree family. We are a friendly three-form entry primary school with a nursery class. We are looking for committed TAs, capable of providing high quality teaching & learning support, to join a supportive team of staff who passionately believe in providing the best education for our children.
The appointed candidates will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to make a positive contribution to our school. We have an expectation that all staff work to a high standard and have a conscientious approach to their work. The appointed candidate must work effectively as part of a team but also demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative.
You will need an understanding of the curriculum and assessment expectations as well as a range of experience in working with SEND children. We are interested in hearing from individuals with a range of talents, experiences and skills which will offer something unique to our school community. Working at Yew Tree is more than a job; it is being a part of our family – our community!

2. Confident and up-to-date with curriculum & assessment strategies.
3. Able to create an exciting learning environment for our pupils.
4. Capable of delivering an outstanding quality of teaching.
5. Committed to developing every child.
6. Able to meet the differing needs of children in their work.
7. Committed to working closely with the school community.
8. Willing to work as part of a team.
9. Able to foster and develop a caring ethos.
We can offer the successful candidates:
1. A supportive environment in which relationships are nurtured.
2. A dedicated, friendly and passionate staff.
3. A commitment to continued professional development.
4. A commitment to high standards and continual improvement.
5. Enthusiastic and caring pupils who work hard.
6. Modern facilities and extensive grounds to inspire learning.
7. Strong ICT infrastructure and an extremely well-resourced school.
8. Access to coaching and mentoring from a strong senior leadership team.
9. A strong commitment to staff well-being.
