Technical Support Engineer | Shirley, Solihull | Full Time | £35,000-45,000 per annum

They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to their customers and product development team ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of their electrical products. This full-time role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Recognised C&G Qualification in Electrical Installation or similar
* Proven experience in technical support, preferably in the electrical industry
* Strong knowledge of wiring accessories, electrical systems, and related standards
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in using technical support software and tools
* Willingness to travel for on-site support and training sessions
What will your role look like?
* Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to wiring accessories and circuit protection and provide effective solutions
* Assist customers with product installation, configuration, and maintenance
* Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to address and resolve technical issues and product improvements
* Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal staff
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies
* Participate in the development of technical documentation, including user manuals and FAQs
