Hills Waste Solutions have an opportunity available for a Quality Control Operative to join our team based in Calne. About the role: As our Quality Control Operative, reporting to the MRF Supervisor and MRF Manager, you will be sampling incoming recyclable materials and outgoing material products to ensure compliance with the MRF Code of Practice and Environmental Permitting (England and Wales (Amendment) Regulations 2023. Your key responsibilities as our Quality Control Operative will include: Accurately record sampled material components and maintain the data to be readily available as requested. Ensure the required quantities and weights of required samples are met within specified timeframes. Report identified quality problems and performance trends with material streams to the MRF Manager in a timely fashion. This role will be on working 40 hours per week 13:30 – 22:00, Monday – Friday with a 30-minute break each day There will also be a contracted requirement to work some Bank Holidays and up to 8 Saturdays per year.
