Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively partnering with a commercial real estate Company that provide flexible office spaces for small businesses. They are based in the City of London and are looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk on a permanent basis. Role: Our client is looking to recruit an experienced purchase ledger clerk with at least 3 years experience doing top to bottom AP, on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following duties: Take control of the P2D (purchase invoice approval system) including approval of invoices in accordance with delegation of authority. Request and process credit notes, amended invoices as and when necessary. Ensure purchase invoices are correctly posted in Sage in a timely manner, allocated correctly and have the correct tax treatment. Process each centre supplier payments in a timely manner through the Natwest on line banking system. Post center supplier payments to Sage. Reconcile each supplier account. Provide a monthly aged creditors report for each centre to the relevant management accountant. Work closely with the management accountants to resolve any purchase ledger / supplier issues. Be the main contact for centre managers for any purchase ledger queries. Be the main contact for external suppliers for any purchase ledger queries. Any ad-hoc Accounts Payable queries. Profile: The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience working within finance team as a purchase ledger clerk and will have had exposure to top to bottom AP experience using Sage 50. 1 month notice max. Client: Our client is a commercial real estate business that provides flexible office spaces for small business, based in the City of London. You will work 3 day per week from their office and 2 days from home.
