We are looking for a Payroll Administrator for our Arla (Dairy) contract based in Hatfield. As a full time member of the team you’ll be working a 5 from 7 shift pattern (will include a Sunday in pattern), supporting site administration and payroll functions – inputting data into spreadsheets and updating trackers.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Processing and submission of weekly and monthly payroll and all associated administration, ensuring all information is accurate and processed in line with the required deadlines
2. Management of general administration within the HR department i.e. maintaining HR records, updating HR trackers etc
3. Managing daily absence process; amending T&A accordingly, liaising with operations
What you need to succeed at XPO:
4. Past administration experience, ideally in a people focused role
5. Excellent communicator, as you will be working with stakeholders at different levels
6. Good IT knowledge and confident using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and other systems/databases
7. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability prioritise workload effectively
