HR Advisor £30K-£32K Basic Salary Leeds/Hybrid We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to support the day-to-day operations of our client's HR department. In this role, you will take an advisory position, ensuring best practices in recruitment, retention, and employee engagement. You will play a key part in upholding company policies and procedures while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This is a hands-on role where you will provide frontline support to the HR Manager and Global HR function, assisting line managers in all aspects of people management. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to attract top talent. Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to enhance the company’s employer brand and recruitment presence. Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring impartiality and escalation of high-risk cases when necessary. Lead quarterly and annual engagement surveys, analysing results and recommending improvements. Support initiatives to build a strong and positive workplace culture. Handle first-line concerns, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions, in relation to disciplinary’s, grievance, and performance management Oversee absence reporting and advise managers on best practices for handling attendance issues. Coach and mentor people managers on HR policies and best practices, identifying training needs and maintaining appraisal programs. Promote and support employee wellbeing, educating managers on best practices and available resources. Assist in the development and refinement of HR policies to ensure an agile and progressive HR function. Assist the HR Manager and Finance team in ensuring an accurate payroll process. Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR software systems. Respond to HR queries and handle ad hoc duties as required. Resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning. Ability to influence, coach, and mentor managers and employees. Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it. Experience 1-2 years’ experience in a standalone HR role, such as HR Advisor or Consultant. Strong background in managing complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Experience working with HR software systems.
