We are looking for a dynamic and experienced QSHE Manager to join our team at Fit Out UK, a leading provider of Fit Out, warehousing, Manufacturing and logistics solutions across the UK.
What will you do?
As QSHE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations comply with regulatory standards and align with our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will collaborate with teams across multiple sites to drive a culture of continuous improvement in QSHE practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QSHE management systems in line with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards across all warehousing and logistics operations.
3. Lead internal and external audits, preparing reports and action plans for continuous improvement.
4. Provide training, guidance, and support to employees and management teams on QSHE matters.
5. Monitor and analyse QSHE performance metrics, reporting to senior management and driving improvement initiatives.
6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring thorough root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
7. Stay up to date with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging trends to keep the company ahead of compliance requirements.
What do you need?
With proven experience in a QSHE management role, preferably in the warehousing, logistics, or supply chain industry.
You will also have:
1. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and ISO management systems.
2. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (essential); a Diploma is desirable.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
4. Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in using QSHE software systems and MS Office tools.
6. Full UK driving licence (as travel to multiple sites may be required).
