Due to the continued growth and success of our company, the opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator with a varied background to join our small team of admin staff based outside of Ballynahinch/Dromara.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
1. General administration duties, such as answering telephone calls, queries, scheduling appointments, assisting engineers, maintaining office databases, sourcing & ordering parts, etc.
2. Assist and provide support to other admin staff.
Essential skills required:
1. The ideal candidate will be confident and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude.
2. MUST be able to work quickly under pressure, multi-task, and problem-solve.
3. MUST have excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
4. Have experience working in a variety of administration roles or varied tasks.
5. Be well organized, have an eye for detail with accurate record-keeping skills.
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision when required, but take instructions when given.
7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
9. Good telephone manner and be customer-focused.
10. GCSE English Language or equivalent.
11. Own transport essential due to location.
Desirable criteria (to be used should a large number of applications be received):
1. Using online job management systems.
2. Geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
Summary:
As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our office, reporting directly to management. Your role will involve using your strong computer skills and administrative experience to manage daily tasks, including data entry and clerical duties. With a focus on effective communication and organizational skills, you will assist in maintaining business efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, will be essential in supporting our team and ensuring that all administrative functions run seamlessly.
