Then come and work for us as a Senior Autism Practitioner at Autism East Midlands, the leading regional Autism charity in Nottingham.
This is a job where you really will be making a difference to people’s lives by supporting people with autism in our residential service with a variety of activities they enjoy, as well as promoting independent living skills.
You will find this a rewarding job, which promises variety as no two days are ever the same.
You will be positively supporting people by providing holistic support including personal care, medication administration, integration into the local community, and managing their anxieties, which they may communicate through distressing behaviour.
Full training will be given, but if you have experience as a Senior Support Worker, Senior Care Assistant, or have worked in the NHS, Health Care, or in Social Care, this position would be well suited to you.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week.
The working pattern is on a rolling rota including a variety of shifts: early, lates, sleep-ins, weekends, bank holidays, and flexible shift patterns.
You should hold an NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
