Potensis are delighted to partner with a Leading National Residential Developer who are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Land Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Your expertise in identifying, negotiating, and securing prime residential development opportunities will support our client’s highly ambitious growth targets.
1. Land Acquisition : Identify, appraise, and secure land acquisition opportunities to meet development targets. This includes evaluating potential sites, conducting feasibility studies, and assessing financial viability.
2. Project Oversight : Manage complex, high-value land acquisitions from initial feasibility to contract negotiation and final purchase, ensuring each project aligns with company objectives and financial targets.
3. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate successful negotiations and long-term partnerships.
4. Due Diligence : Oversee the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, working closely with planning, legal, and finance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Financial Analysis : Prepare financial appraisals, conduct cost analysis, and collaborate with the finance team to ensure profitable land purchases align with company goals.
6. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of all land transactions and negotiations. Prepare and present regular updates and reports for senior management, highlighting opportunities, risks, and status of ongoing projects.
7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination : Work closely with planning, development, and finance teams to ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to development, ensuring objectives and timelines are consistently met.
Requirements:
8. Extensive experience in land acquisition, land management, or property development, preferably within the residential or housing sector.
9. Demonstrated success in securing high-value land deals and managing complex negotiations.
10. In-depth understanding of land valuation, viability assessments, and financial appraisals with the ability to interpret market trends and financial data accurately.
