Job Title: SEN Teacher\n\nLocation: Northamptonshire\nSalary: MPS/UPS for qualified teachers\nContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nStart Date: Easter 2025\n\nThe Role:\nAs an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral difficulties. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, such as teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN coordinators, to create tailored learning plans that promote the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.\nAssess and monitor the progress of students, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.\nDevelop and implement personalised education plans (IEPs) for students.\nProvide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where all students feel valued.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic development of students.\nParticipate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.\nFoster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.\nThe Ideal Candidate:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (not essential for all posts)\nExperience working with students with SEN, ideally within an SEN school or similar setting.\nKnowledge and understanding of a variety of SEN needs and appropriate strategies for support.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nA compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.\nA commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.\nHow to Apply:\nTo apply for this position, please click on 'apply' and use a copy of your latest CV, which includes all career and education history.
