To ensure efficient and effective use of manpower and resources. To ensure every member of staff complies with all relevant policies and procedures during their span of duty. To maintain confidentiality at all times. Report any accidents/untoward incidents to patients/self/visitors and other staff and completion of appropriate documentation. Ensure maintenance and working efficiency of equipment in conjunction with service departments and participate in the introduction of new equipment. Be fully aware of all relevant Trust Policies and Procedures, Fire and Major Emergency. To act on behalf of the responsible officer for the compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.
