Due to the team's expansion, Gateway have a brand new home ready for our service users to move in! We are currently looking for 3 compassionate, reliable and dedicated support workers to join us within the Learning Difficulties Team.
These positions are available on a full-time basis or alternatively we could accept x2 part-time and 2 full-time. The successful applicants will be flexible working morning and late shifts including weekends. They will also have a valid UK drivers licence and access to own car and either have an SVQ2 or willingness to work towards their SVQ 2 in health and social care which is funded by Gateway.
The primary responsibilities may include accompanying the service users on shopping trips, panto, holidays abroad, taking them to their own activities, attending appointments, assist with cooking and general housekeeping. In addition to that, other duties will include conducting risk assessments, updating support plans, ensuring health and safety compliance and other light admin work.
Successful applicants must be able to speak fluent English.
